Hi I'm Colby

I grew up in Utah. I love writing and drawing. I love to play ultimate frisbee. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I draw and write. I love to write stories that stretch and squeeze my imagination. I love to play ultimate frisbee. I was call to serve a mission in the Uruguay, Montevideo mission. I love to read books. Some of the books i like to read are Fablehaven, Series of Unfortunate Events, The Republic, and One Piece. My favorite food hands down is cheese. I like to listen to instrumental movie scores and almost everything that is popular. I have ADHD and it has blessed my life since the day I found out about it. I love to think about everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I turned 8 years old I had the choice to be baptized and join the church. I chose to do so and it has blessed my life. I made this choice because I felt like it was the right thing to do in my life. After that I had a section of my life where I was put to the test and my faith was shaken. I was faced with the choice to serve a mission. At that point I was forced to look at my life and reflect on the choices I had made. I found hope in the gospel and got to where I am today, with unshaken faith and a fire that burns within my heart. I know that this gospel is true. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet, and that Thomas S Monson is a modern day prophet. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to translate the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion. I know that the teachings and principles of the Book of Mormon were written for both the time period that they were written and for the modern day. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that He suffered in Gethsemane for me. I know that He took upon him the sins of the world. I know that He has an eternal love for us. I know that I am a Child of God. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me with all His heart. I know that this church is true. I know this without a shadow of a doubt. My testimony is what keeps my fire burning. It is what I turn to when I am faced with a trial that may shake my faith. It is most precious to me. It continues to grow. I am willing to share it with all who wish to know.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve a mission in the Uruguay, Montevideo mission. I home teach a couple families. I participate in neighborhood cleanups.
