Hi I'm Jess

I live in California, born and raised. I would like to go on a mission someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school and also attending classes at a community college. I plan on going to community college until I turn 19, hopefully go on a mission, and someday transfer to BYU or BYU-I. I like to bake, read, knit, sew, and be creative about everything I do. I love to do service, and I would like to go into a career where I can help people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ and I want to show my love for Him by attending church, and sharing His gospel. I have been raised a member of the church, however, during a time in my life, I finally had to decide for myself whether the church is true or not. My parents have always told me the church is true, and I have never doubted it. I took time to read the Book of Mormon, and sincerely pray about it. I immediately received an overwhelming feeling of love. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, and I know that Heavenly Father loves and cared about each of His children. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it is the word of God. I am extremely grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently have the calling of a Family-History Consultant at church. I am working on my own genealogy, as well as helping members of my ward work on theirs too. I love to teach lessons and give talks in church and during classes at church. I also enjoy telling others about the gospel, and being able to answer questions that people have.
