Hi I'm David

I am an engineer, an artist, I love fine foods and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was brought up by my grand parents in Yorkshire and I've learned from a young age that life isn't just about you you've got to think how your actions affect other people and how they feel. Because if you don't think about then why should they think about you. I love a lot of things with a wide range of different hobbies. I a music lover, from classical to modern. I like fine arts and appreciate the talents of people who create different things. Also I love different foods.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in south Yorkshier in 1954 and lived most of my life there untill I moved to Sussxe in the 1997, I have lived here from then up to now. In the late 70's I had an injury that made me think and reflect about my life and where I'm going. I decided to change my life I admitted that I need a change. Later on in my life (about 2005/6) I then met some missionaries from the Church, that presented me with a copy of the Book of Mormon. As I read it and read it again I came to realise that not only was this the path I wanted to follow, but also that it WAS the path that I was following already and was meant to follow. It seems like I already knew all these things which were written, and I found myself surrounded by people that also had the same feelings as I did. I believe I became a Mormon because it was meant to be this way. God had already give all of the answer as to what I needed to do and all I had to do was to ask the right question, just as I and many other people have before and after me.

How I live my faith

I'm trying my best to not be judgemental of others and endure all the trials and difficulties in my life by reading the scriptures and praying quite often. I've made many mistakes in life and I am trying to not make same mistakes twice. Having faith in Christ helped me to take things slowly and thinking why and should I do these things. It gives me better understanding. The principles of the gospel help me overcome trials in life.
