Hi I'm Michael Jacobson

I was born in Utah, but I grew up in many different states and countries. I'm a military child. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of six kids in my family. I come from a military family. I have been to several different states and countries as well as several different schools. I will be leaving for my mission in December of 2013 to São Paulo, Brazil. I am a very active person and love to play sports. I am also a very competitve person depending on the activity. I am still deciding where I want to go to college after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in my faith and was taught the gospel priciples at an early age. However it took me some time to really gain my own testimony of the truth of this church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. It also took me some time to realize how much my life has been affected and blessed by the gospel. I know for a surety that I would be a totally different person had It not been for the church and teachings of the gospel that were taught to me there. The person I might have been is a scary thought yet I find it a blessing because It helps me see how much the gospel has truly blessed me and my family. I can say with iut a doubt that this gospel has given me true happiness. For that is the reason why I am willing to sacrifice two years to share with people what I know to be true so that they may have the oppotunity, should they accept it, to recieve this true happiness, truth, and slavation through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep my moral standards as well as keeping a personal relationship with my Father in heaven through daily prayer. I also try my best to be more Christ like by doing simple yet important things such as keeping a possitive attitude, reading the scriptures, being a good friend, sharing the gospel, and look for opportunities to perform service on a daily basis. I am currently a seminary (book of mormon and bible study) teacher for the high school freshman of my area. I love my students and my co-teachers. This calling has blessed me in countless ways especially in preparing me to serve a mission.
