Hi I'm David Livingston

I grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah. I like to speedrun video games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I graduated high school and have plans to attend Utah Valley University in pursuit of a degree in Computer Science. I enjoy speedrunning video games (beating them as fast as possible), playing ultimate frisbee, swimming, and having a good laugh with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. I saw something special in the teachings and people of this Church. Along with being taught to follow Jesus Christ, I was taught that I could read "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ" and pray to know that it was true, and that the answer would come by the power of The Holy Ghost. I read The Book of Mormon, and prayed as instructed. Sure enough, The Holy Ghost testified to me that The Book of Mormon is true through feelings and thoughts. I know that The Book of Mormon is true, and that means that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that anyone who sincerely reads and prays about The Book of Mormon can come to this same knowledge.

How I live my faith

I served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was called to serve in the Washington, Vancouver Mission. Over the course of 2 years, I moved around to different areas near Vancouver, Washington. As a missionary, I shared a message with as many people as possible. This message is centered on leading a better life through the teachings of Jesus Christ, namely: faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I try to live these principles in my own life. I strive to be more like Christ and to serve and treat others well. I know that these are the true teachings of Jesus Christ and seek to bless the lives of others through them.
