Hi I'm Dallas

I was born in Nebraska, and currently call Wyoming home. I will serve a mission in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing basketball, and in high school I ran long distance track. Frisbee golf is one of my many hobbies, and I love to play it with friends and family. I currently go to college and am preparing to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I have a firm testimony. I know that God is our Father, and he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for us. Because of this we can return to live with Him someday and learn to be like He is. I believe that the spirit of the Holy Ghost talks to us if we are willing to listen, and I have felt that everyday of my life. I heard once from a leader in my church that, "You will find the spirit talks to us far, far more than you think if you will just listen. Anything you feel you should do, if it is good, is from that very spirit." I love that and have found it to be true. We often get caught up in decisions and justify our way out of things, but when we act on our promptings we have great success. I have a family that loves me and they are part of what brought me to the faith. I have found, as well, that friends who live my standards keep me out of trouble and are the best kind as they build me up rather than tear me down. I have seen the atonement at work, I have felt God's mercy, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in a calling that helps the Institute, the place used to worship and have activities at the community college in town, plan. I love the calling as I can serve and allow others my own age to serve and have fun practicing their faith as well. I try to be the best example I can be in my home, school, and community as a whole.
