Hi I'm MIles

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona. I was on the swim team for 4 years and my favorite hobby is deep sea fishing. Im a Mormon

About Me

My favorite hobby is deep sea fishing and one of my goals is to catch a 300 pound yellowfin tuna. This summer I went to Cabo San Lusas with my family and did 2 days of deep sea fishing. We all caught tons of marlin! Favorite activities of mine is swimming and weight lifting. In high school I did 4 years of swim team and also lifted weights every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and have always enjoyed the spirit the people have and their kindness. Being in the church is like one big family and everyone wants to know how your doing and really do have concern for your welfare. I had a testimony growing up but I consider it small, it wasn't until I started to prepare for my mission that it grew into something that makes me so happy that Im in the church and a privilege it is for me to go on a mission. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He experienced extreme pain in the garden of gethsemane and died on the hill Golgotha being crucified, he did it because he loves us. He loves us so much that he made it possible for us to repent and to have the atonement so that one day if we are worthy and have repented of our sins we can live eternally with our father in heaven again.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

MIles
The Holy Ghost often called "The Spirit" is a member of the Godhead but is a separate being. It shares purpose with The Father and The Son. Any one can feel the Holy Ghost to reveal them the truth of the Gospel but only members in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who have been baptized and is given the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying of the hands can always have the Holy Ghost with them if they are worthy.
