Hi I'm Matthew McEvoy

I was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho. I'm preparing to serve a mission in St. Louis, Missouri. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running. I ran Cross Country for school. I like to play basketball, volleyball, watching movies, swimming, boating, and hanging out with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the church is true and its teachings bring you direction and guidance through hard times. True happiness is felt when living its teachings. I know that families can be together forever and that Heavenly Father has created a way for us to be happy and return to live with him. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and that's why he sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth to atone for everyone. He knew that we weren't going to be perfect and that we would make mistakes through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can overcome anything and be happy in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday, reading the scriptures, and saying personal prayers. I am currently in charge of making sure the church building is secure and locked. I also do service projects in the community like pulling weeds, raking leaves, painting homes, and other projects.
