Hi I'm Sister Pereitai

I am from Tahiti. I speak French and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The ocean is my passion. I like to be close to the beach, play volleyball, listen music, and make people smile... :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. As I turned 16 years old I had asking to myself a lot of questions like " why do I have so many rules in the Church?" " Is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints the true Church? " Why do I have so many trials in my life if Heavenly Father loves me?" I wasn't sure about all of the knowledge that I had at this time and I stopped going at church..Well years after I saw that my life wasn't the same and that there was something missing in my life.. I decided to participated to the YSA conference that we call in Tahiti "JAR" and felt something who made me come back in the Church.. Little by little my testimony about the Gospel was growing and still grow right now I'm in my mission.I know that Heavenly Father loves me and that He gave me this chance to grow and become like Him. I still do mistakes in my life but I'm doing my best everyday to choose the right.. Heavenly Father gives us commandments for our good. The Gospel gives me Hope that I will be with my family again throught the Plan of Salvation. I love my family more that anything in the world. The Book of Mormon helps me in so many way in my life. It helps me to learn English too and prayer is a great blessing I have in my life because of that I could have my Heavenly Father's help in everything I need. He always answers my prayer. I love Him with all my Heart.

How I live my faith

Before I came in my mission I was a ward missionary and a secretary for the women. I was helping the missionaries in my island by finding, teaching and baptizing...Well now I'm serving a mission for 18 months in my life and I really like what I'm doing here in California. Going around and preach what I believe and how I live what I believe. Helping those who needs my help, smiling to those around me, this is how I live my faith.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Sister Pereitai
Family is central to God's plan for all of us. A place where we can learn, grow, love and teach. In my family we love each other even sometime we struggle, we serve each other and we help each other in everyway we can. A place where I can share my feeling, my sorrows or joys and all of the thing I learn without them for example at school or others activities. Also I believe that I can be with my family for eternity so my joy is not just to know that I can be with them just here on the earth but also after this life. Show more Show less
