Hi I'm Patrick

I was born in Utah, then moved to California when I was 8. I currently attend Brigham Young University.

About Me

I currently attend Brigham Young University, or BYU. I love being at college, surrounded by thousands of students who share similar values as I do. BYU is an awesome place. I have three younger siblings, one brother, and two sisters. I have grown up playing soccer but I also enjoy playing basketball and football. I'm currently a declared Computer Engineer major but I'm still figuring out what I'd like to do. I plan on serving a mission for my church after completing the upcoming winter semester.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings so much happiness to my life. Having the knowledge that families can be together, forever, helps strengthen my testimony. I'm a Mormon because I love the values the Church instills. There are so many amazing people, all trying to live like Christ and I think that is awesome. I'm a Mormon because of the knowledge the church provides. I have a testimony that we will be able to return to our Father in Heaven after we die, and this brings joy to my life and helps keep things in perspective. The simplest way to put it is that I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to model my life after the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I study the Bible and the Book of Mormon often, in order to strengthen my knowledge of the gospel of Christ. I try to be kind and friendly to everyone I meet. I enjoy serving others as well. I enjoy paying tithing, giving 10% of my income as donation to the church, and this is a simple opportunity for service.
