Hi I'm Megan

I'm a small town, country girl from Idaho. I'm a nursing student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fourth of six children. I love my family, and spending time with them. I am studying to become a nurse. I love helping others and making them feel better. I work as a care coordinator at an assisted living facility. I love being active and spending time outdoors. I grew up on a small farm and learned how to work and play hard. I have learned that our attitude is everything. Being happy and optimist is a choice that we make each day. I love life and the new opportunities and challenges it brings each new day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the joy it brings to my life. The gospel has brought me closer to the Lord, my family and all those who I interact with. I know that the gospel is so true, and that living it has helped me to become the person I am today. I have come to know my Heavenly Father and the love he has for each of us. I have received my own personal testimony that this is his church.

How I live my faith

I volunteer at the local hospital helping to provide comfort to those in distress. On the weekends I often go out to a horse ranch and help with a program for disabled children to have interactions with animals. I have the wonderful opportunity to serve the elderly through my current job. Through simple conversations with them I learn so much and am uplifted while also helping to brighten their days. I now live away from home, and my younger brothers and I share a daily scripture or spiritual quote through text. It has been a great way to keep in contact with them and share the gospel together. Most of all I try to love every person I come in contact with and see them as God's children.
