Hi I'm Connor Thredgold

I was born in Mesa Arizona, I Love Sports (GO SUNS!). I love my Family. I'm a Missionary in Taipei Taiwan and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 19 years old. I was born in Mesa, Arizona, I grew up in Springville Utah but I am still an Arizona boy in my heart. I love most anything outdoors, Trail riding, downhill mountain biking, hiking, camping, backpacking, bonfires, I have not been climbing outdoors yet but ill try it soon. as far as sports I'm down for anything, Basketball (GO SUNS), Baseball (GO DIAMONDBACKS), Football (GO CARDINALS), and golf are some of my favorites. I love to play and to watch. I have had many jobs in the past, my most recent job was carpet cleaning... believe it or not i actually really enjoyed it. I love to work and participate in community projects. I love going to the movies. The Lego Movie was the most recent one i watched. I Love RC cars, not the Walmart ones, hobby grade are a lot of fun. I love my Family. I have my Mom and my Dad, 3 older Brothers and they are all married so i also have 3 older sister in laws! I also have a niece and a nephew. My family is definitely not perfect and we have our struggles but I love them so much and am grateful for them all. I really enjoy Mechanics, I love taking stuff apart to see how it works and also repairing things. I intend to attend either UVU or UTI to advance my knowledge on many different subjects. I would either like to be an auto mechanic or a race car/monster truck driver sometime down the road. I do not know how likely the second is though. I'm also an eagle scout and am Currently serving a Mission in Taiwan Taipei!.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I believe whole-heartedly in the teachings and doctrine that the LDS church promotes. I have found happiness and love in living in gods light! I know that through the gospel I can be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

For a long time I never really lived my faith. I went to Church, Seminary, Firesides, and other church activities but I never really had a testimony. I never really prayed personally or did personal scripture study like I should have. Then came the time that I decided to serve a mission. It was a massive decision. I chose to serve mostly because that's what all my friends were doing and I figured I should probably do it too. I wasn't sure if I was ready. But now I've been out for 3 months and I KNOW that I made the right decision. I now for certain have a testimony that this Church is true. There has been such a dramatic change in my life since I actually started LIVING MY FAITH. My testimony is strong and I have NO doubts. I live my faith all day every day. I KNOW Christ really suffered and atoned for every single one of us. Through Christ's atonement we all can be forgiven of our sins and mistakes. To me, this is a fact. I live my faith by striving to share this message with everyone I meet. In the last 3 months I have received so many blessings and have both seen and felt the change that has come into my life. Its my will and goal to share this message and this knowledge with as many people as I can while I'm in Taiwan, that I might be an instrument in helping them receive the same blessings and knowledge that comes from the restored gospel! I have already seen the love and light that has come into peoples lives by hearing this message. When we, as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, know personally that this church is true, this message is true, and that the True Church of Jesus Christ has once again been restored to this earth, It is our privilege and honor to share this message with our friends, family, brothers, and sisters.
