Hi I'm Robyn

I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. I'm the baby of 5, and the first missionary for my family! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the baby of 5, and have 12 nieces and nephews. My family means everything to me. Growing up, I was really in to music. In middle school and high school I played the flute and piccolo in the band. Along with that I played soccer for clubs and my high school. I was also the Sports Editor for the yearbook. In my high school, we had early morning seminary...and I loved it! There was about 20 other LDS kids at my high school. I had many nonmember friends, and all of them knew what my beliefs were. I went to BYU Hawaii this past year, and majored in Exercise and Sports Science. I'm a huge Crossfit fanatic and Paleo eater. After I return from my mission I would like to be a dietitian and Crossfit trainer. I am the first and only missionary in my immediate family.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents converted. I still follow all the teachings of this gospel because I have seen the blessings in my life. To me, very thing about what we are taught makes perfect sense. I know that because of the Atonement, I can repent of any wrong doings and be clean again. I know that along with the Atonement and the covenants made in The Lord's temples, that families can be sealed for time and all eternity. Without a doubt in my mind I know that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

For me living the gospel has never been hard. I am not afraid to openly talk about what I believe in, and I am very proud of this gospel. The biggest test for my faith was when I went away for college. While being at a church school it was still my duty to get up every Sunday and attend church at 8 a.m. It was also my responsibility to continue my daily prayers and scripture study without having my mom remind me. I always try to be kind, loving, willing to lend a hand, and just let the light of Christ show through my daily actions.
