Hi I'm Juliana

I'm a wife to a busy anesthesia resident. I'm a mother to four energetic children. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I went to school to become a teacher. Now I put that knowledge to good use as a stay-at-home mother of four. I love to read - fantasy books, especially. I also enjoy hiking and camping. Moving from Utah to Florida has been a big change for me - I miss the mountains a lot, but going to the beach has been a great activity for our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church. As a child, my parents took me to church every week, where I learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At home we studied scripture. When I became a teenager, however, it wan't enough for me to just go to church because my parents wanted me to, or because they thought it would be good for me. I wanted to find out for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true. I studied the scriptures - specifically the Book of Mormon and New Testament. I prayed often. I asked God to let me know if the Book of Mormon was true. I asked if Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I asked if Jesus Christ could really atone for my sins. The Holy Ghost testified to me that all of these things were true and correct. I knew that Heavenly Father wanted me in this church. Now, 17 years later, when I ask God if these things are true, he still answers me.

How I live my faith

I am involved with teaching and organizing activities for the children in our ward. I also help out with the Cub Scout program. I'm also a visiting teacher. I have four women who I am responsible for checking on and teaching each month. It's a great way to build friendships, as well as be able to make sure those around me are taken care of.
