Hi I'm Tyson

I'm a Canadian, I love Basketball, footy, pingpong, partying, and soooo many other things, I am a chocoholic, And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and living in a small town. I grew up playing sports competitively and that is what took up a lot of my spare time. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and all sorts of games. I am currently working in a construction job as I prepare to serve a mission and go to university.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for several reasons, first off, I was born to this church and that is what I was raised knowing, however more importantly I am a Mormon because I have come to know the truthfulness if this church for myself. Through scripture study and prayer, I have asked and recieved witness from god that this church is true. Fllowing the commandments or general rules of this church have brought me some of the greatest and most joyful experiences I have had in this life. The comfort of knowing I am a part of a church based on the family and the knowledge that I can be with my family forever is the main reason why I love this church and why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to be obedient to all of the things I have been taught to do in my church. As much as I can I try to do the things which people ask of me in my ward and try to reach out to serve people not just in my ward but all of the people in my community. I obey commandments such as the word of wisdom or law of chastity 100 percent as I realize these are commandments from god and he expects us to live them. I am currently preparing to serve a mission for the lds church where I will be sent to a place that I have never been and tell people of our church and let them know of the truths that are found in it that I have came to know throughout my life.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Simply because the Bible teaches us of the life of Jesus Christ, and his dealings with the people of the earth. It testifies of the divinity of the Son and the importance of the atonement, along with testifying that God speaks through his Prophets and apostles, and disiples. It is a book that wholly testifies of Christs mission, and dealings with men on earth. It teaches us so much about how to live our lives and how God directs his people and answers prayers. Because Mormons believe in Jesus Christ and most importantly the divinity of Jesus Christ. We believe in the book that testifies of that. Show more Show less
