Hi I'm Ranae

I'm from Utah. I go to BYU, Idaho. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Ranae. I am the youngest of seven children, and I currently have three nieces, two nephews, and a nephew on the way. This is my third semester of college, and recently I got my mission call.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are real. I know that they love me and love everyone. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I know that Joesph Smith translated it through the power of God because he was the prophet who restored the church. I know that President Monson is a prophet of God. I know these things because I have asked my Heavenly Father in prayer if they are true; I have received a witness through the Holy Ghost; and I have taken such action as to follow President Monson's counsel and read the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

In my young single adult ward, I am the secretary of the women's organization, so basically I record meetings, and help the president and her counsels fulfill their callings.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Ranae
God created temples so we could worship him and receive the tools we need to return to his presents. One of these tools is marriage. It is possible to be with your spouse forever when you are married in the temple. Our bodies are gifts from God that allow us to have children after marriage, and just like temples, bodies are sacred. God cannot entire unholy places. If we keep our temples clean, his presents will be there. If we keep our bodies clean, his Spirit can be with us to guide and direct us in our lives. Show more Show less
