Hi I'm Grason Horvath

I was adopted into the United States from Vladivostok, Russia when I was 2. I have polio. I'm a diver. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Grason Horvath. I was born in Vladivostok, Russia where I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. I spent the first 2 years of my life in an adoption home. I was then adopted into the United States by my current parents. After a couple of months, my brother was adopted. We then got all sealed as a family. I have always been a very social butterfly. I also got into a lot of different kinds of sports, such as wrestling, basketball, baseball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, and golfing. There were really only 2 sports that stuck with me though. Those were gymnastics and diving. This is why I sometimes like to nickname myself MonkeyFish. The biggest stick being diving. I dove all throughout high school, and was fairly good at it too. My family has always liked to travel, and have gone to a lot of places here in the U.S. One of my favorite places that I have been to is probably California. I have always loved the ocean, as well as the warm weather. Somewhere I would like to go that I haven't been to yet is Europe. I have always wanted to see the architecture there, and see the different cultures that they have there. I have had quite a few job interests in my past, including being a mortician, as well as an architect. My actual past jobs have been far from. I worked at a boy scout camp as one of their waterfront counselors, and then I worked at amazon.com in one of their warehouses. Well; That is it for me. Stay Classy, and always live your life to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

Instead of being born into the church, I was adopted into the church. I grew up with its teachings and it's standards, so I decided to get baptized at eight, because it was what I was around with all my life and what I knew to be good for me. It wasn't until later I discovered the truth for myself that this church is true, and the teachings and principals taught in the Book of Mormon are that of our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have served quite a bit in the LDS Church. I have had several leadership callings, and have always tried to help serve others. I have tried to always go to my Sunday church meetings because that is where I can get some of the most of my teachings.
