Hi I'm Joshua

I'm one of 4 and 11 siblings. I'm a avivd Gamer, I'm an aspiring artist, and I'm a proud member of the LDS Chruch

About Me

So as for myself I'm an artist, I paint, design, print, I work in clay and sketch. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Restoed Gosple of Jesus Christ that's held within the church has become a part of the very person I am today. This church has been apart of me for almost all of my life, and while it has been difficult growing up being one of the only 11-12 Mormons who lived on the small Island of Tortola at the time. I've always had my ups and downs, but I've aslways found great solace in Jesus Christ and his atonement. The fact that he died for me and has felt everything I've gone through puls move helps me getting up when ever I'm down. And with him nothing can keep my down. The church on our small island has grown during my, agin short life time to a average of 50-60 poeple, before I left on my mission to New York. To help as many people find the peace and joy I now feel. They have all become apart of my family and has help shaped or molded my into the persom I am today. They have provided a great deal of support and strength for me and has continued to be the force that drives me forward. My Imediate family has played the biggest part in my life that also shaped me. They have given me something that I will treasure forever and never let go. They have provided me with a love the has touched my very soul and has given me a greater understanding of the love our Heavenly Father has for us all. Through them I have gained a hope for happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I been a Mormon since i was 8 years old and have always felt peace in the church even from that young age. I've felt the spirit in the church compared to the others and how everyone treats me like family and are my extended family and have help me and continued to be a strong faithful member. I'm a Mormon because when I pray anread the scripture Name the book of mormon i fell something stri my heart and soul like nothing i ever felt before. and i know its the holy ghost testfiing of its truth.

How I live my faith

Current I'm a missionary for The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the New York New York South Mission. I have been striving to constantly follow the example of Christ and to develop the Christ like attributes that will help the people I come in contact with to know of the love God has for them through me. I live my faith is by consistanly being the person I want to become, which is someone who can stand before our God and Jesus Christ and be able to say that I have done what you have asked of me. And to then be welcomed home after I have passed from this life. But to be honest it is easier said then done. I've had days were I've been doing exactly what will get me there, and other days, not so much. But one thing I have done is have daily and consistant scripture study and by always living the Principles taught by Christ and restored though the prophet Jseph Smith, I've been making steps closer to my goal. My faith is not something where I set down and wait for things to happen, even if you might see my taking a nap or two here and there. I want to be moving forward in my faith doing my duty with love and hope, so the happiest times of my life can be spent in the service of my fellow beings. I believe that our every actions should be motivated from a desire to help bring happiness to those around us. While I'm not perfect at it I try my best to let those around me smile and laugh and have fun, life is here for us to enjoy it, while we learn what we need to learn to return to live with God agin. Every trial begins opportunity, and every heartache bring strength, and opportunity to apply the teachings of Christ and the strength to stand firm and move forward. No one is without trial or heartaches, without sorrows or pains, but the opposite is also true we will never be without a guide or relief, without hope or joy, Christ can give that to all of us and I'm want to be able to help all those around me know that there is always a way out on top.
