Hi I'm Morganne Weaver

I from Alabama. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in small-town Alabama. I'm a college student, declaring a pre-pharmacy major. I enjoy playing softball, cooking, reading, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a convert to the Church and the only member in my family. I was raised in a Baptist church, and I am thankful for the biblical foundation I grew up with. I was introduced to the restored gospel while I was in high school. I began attending sacrament meeting and reading the Book of Mormon. After intent prayer, I felt the Spirit confirming to me that this Church was true. I was baptized the day after my eighteenth birthday. Through attending weekly church meetings, I learned more about the restored gospel and, in particular, the temple. My mom died from cancer when I was young and I was comforted to know that, through the sacred priesthood ordinances of the temple, families can be together forever. I am thankful for my Heavenly Father, who loves me so much. I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and His Atonement. I am thankful for the guidance of modern-day prophets and the blessings of holy scriptures. I know this Church is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to read the scriptures and pray daily, to keep the commandments and to live worthily so that I may enter the temple someday. I try to live a pure, righteous life so that I might always have the Holy Ghost as my constant companion. I try to always remember that I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father, and remember that others around me are also His beloved children. I regularly attend church meetings so that I may be strengthened by the faith and testimony of other Saints.
