Hi I'm Andrew

I'm from a large family in California. I love flying and doing outdoor activities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California as the seventh of eight children. The city changed allot from when i was a child to when I grew up. When i was 19 years old I served 2 years as a missionary for the church in New York city and some of the surrounding areas. I had the wonderful opportunity to love and serve the people there and learn many great life lessons. I developed a much closer relationship to the savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. When I returned home I moved away to Arizona and met the most amazing woman in the world at an early morning church college class. We were then engaged and married in the Mesa Arizona temple for all eternity. We are now married and currently live in Colorado springs working and going to school to get our separate degrees. I am slowly in the process of getting my private pilots license and I love every single time i get to go up and admire the beautiful world from above. I also love spending time in the outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, going to the each or lake. The world is amazing and i love being out in it. I want to someday travel as much of the world as I can with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised into the church, however I had to gain my own testimony of what was taught. Generally i learned and gained that testimony from actively participating in the teachings of the gospel. By putting forth my faith and acting I saw the blessings of the decisions I was making and knew the principles were true. When I was 9 years old I lost my father to heart problems. I know that one day i will see my dad again and it will be a happy reuniting. Through the atonement of Christ i was able to make it through that extremely hard time in my life. The things that i have always learned about the purpose of life and where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going has given me additional hope and strength. By these teachings and the atonement I have been able to find the good in that situation and see the blessings it brings into my life. I love the gospel and the Book of Mormon. I know it is all true and that Joseph Smith restored Christ's original true church and the authority from God to man to act in his name (the priesthood) to the earth again. I know that Jesus Christ gave his life that we may all have the opportunity to repent of our sins and come back into his presence one day. I know that Christ was resurrected and now lives. I know we are all children of God with amazing potential.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and everyday in all the little things I do. I try to set an example to those around me in the way that i act and talk. I try to be like Christ in all that I do, and help anyone that I can when they are in need. I love being able to serve others and it gives me such happiness. I try to have daily scripture study as often as possible and pray always throughout the day. Each Sunday I attend my church meetings and get spiritually fed from the scriptures and lessons there.
