Hi I'm Emalee Guy

I grew up in Utah, I'm a 49ers Fan, And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Australia Melbourne Mission! I grew up in Utah and I swam in High School! I did my studies at BYU-Idaho! I plan to major in Dental Hygiene when I return home from the mission field! I love the out doors! hiking, camping, etc. ! And I love my family!!! They are the greatest treasures I have besides this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because Jesus Christ's church has been restored! and i know it!!!! I have read the Book of Mormon and I know it to be the word of God. I know that it was through a 14 year old Boy named Joseph Smith that we are able to have the gospel restored to this earth for all of us to be a part of!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by currently serving the lord! I love to share my beliefs with others! It makes me happy and i know it will make them happy as well!! I live my faith by serving my family and all those around me as well! no better thing then being a mormon!

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Emalee Guy
Death is not the end. Death is really a beginning—another step forward in Heavenly Father’s plan for His children. Someday, like everyone else, your physical body will die. But your spirit does not die, it goes to the spirit world, where you will continue to learn and progress and may be with loved ones who have passed on. Death is a necessary step in your progression, just as your birth was. Sometime after your death, your spirit and your body will be reunited—never to be separated again. This is called resurrection, and it was made possible by the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (see 1 Corinthians 15:20-22). Show more Show less
