Hi I'm Claus

I am married, a father of 2 and just retired.

About Me

I am a father of 2, a daughter and a son. I have a beautiful wife that loves me and enjoys being with me. I enjoy the outdoors. This includes hiking, fishing and golfing. I enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife. Yellowstone National Park is one of my favorite places to visit. I love to associate with people who are positive and happy. I enjoy taking families to Yellowstone who have never been to show them the sights.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a child of my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because it holds the priesthood keys to binding families together forever. I am a Mormon because the church fills the gospel plan completely. It takes care of my physical and spiritual needs. It teaches me that I have a purpose here on earth. That I can return to live with my Heavenly Father if I act on my faith by living his commandments. It teaches me completely about Jesus Christ, his life and atonement and what that means to me personally. It also teaches me that we have a living prophet on the earth today just as in olden times to lead and guide me thru this life along with the scriptures. I am a Mormon because I know that all the keys have been restored to this earth that brings all the periods of time throughout history together for the final time. This prepares the earth to receive Christ again when he comes the final time to the earth. I love the gospel because it makes sense completely of all the different parts as a whole. The knowledge of the gospel makes me happy and makes life easier to live. It makes associations with others more meaningful because I understand that everyone is a child of God and he wants us all to return to him.

How I live my faith

By being happy and positive about life shows my understanding of the gospel plan. By associating with others thru friendships, work, and sharing lives put forth an example of the kind of person that I am inside. This is from what I believe about this life and why we are here on the earth.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Claus
All of our experiences from being born into a family, being raised and taught thru a family, marrying and raising your own family and then being grandparents and helping your children in raising their families, makes sense to me that families are the most important organization on earth. These experiences teach us and prepare us for the next life. Why would families not be present there? The church teaches us that families will be together and part of the next life.
