Hi I'm Terry

I grew up on the North shore of Lake Superior. I am a mechanical engineer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and we that three daughters who are musically talented. I have a varied engineering history having been involved with oil extraction research, composites and having worked for a University. I graduated from College from Mechanical Engneering and later completed my university degree. I currently work as a Project Engineer where my team supports the design and build of commuter trains. I enjoy the outdoors all four seasons of the year. Being outside on the lakes or in the forest is natural to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the truth of the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. It is that simple. We can return to our Father in Heaven if we follow the teachings of Christ and we can return as families and enjoy being together for ever. On our living room wall we have a saying "Together, A Great Place to Be". That can be forever and that is what the Gospel of Christ offers. It is that simple

How I live my faith

Currently I am the bishop of our ward. I joined the church in my early twenties and served a mission in Finland for two years sharing the restored gospel to both family and others of my heritage. I have had the opportunity to be a Sunday School teacher to almost all ages the most enjoyable of which was teaching younger children. I have had the opportunity to work with the youth of the church taking them on camping trips, hikes, canoeing, fishing and other similar activities. Winter camping was always fun; to see who would get up on a cold Manitoba winter morning and start the breakfast fire.
