Hi I'm Daria

Mommy to 5, homeschooler, podcaster and website owner. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a busy Mom to five beautiful children, my days are spent homeschooling them. In my spare time, I host an online podcast and a website for women. I enjoy date nights with my husband, family outings and celebrations. I love to plan events, take pictures, and create.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church and have always felt grateful for the beautiful foundation that the gospel has given me. At a certain time in my life I struggled and needed to truly discover my own testimony. As I prayerfully read the Book of Mormon I felt that incredible witness of it's truth. I believe that we grow in our faith line upon line, precept on precept for that is how it has happened for me over the years. I'm grateful for the belief and faith I have in the Book of Mormon. I have prayed and felt a burning in my heart as I asked to know if the Prophet Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God. I have also been given many experiences and opportunities to know that there are Prophets in the Latterdays...right now. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants to give all of his children direction and blessings as he did in Bible times. His interest in his children never fails. I can truly testify of my Savior Jesus Christ. I know he lives and suffered all so that he could atone for our sins. How grateful I am for him, I love him and I know that he is my redeemer. I know that our families can be together forever. I love being a member of his church, it has blessed my life in countless ways and my faith in God continues to be the driving force in my life and the source of my joy. As I follow the commandments of God, I have been blessed immeasurably. My life is not perfect by any means, but the gospel and my faith help me to get through the challenges in life and to give of myself. I would invite you to prayerfully read the Book of Mormon also, and prepare yourself to receive an answer. I know an answer will come for it has happened to me and changed my life in beautiful ways.

How I live my faith

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and serve in my callings with the Young Women in our ward as Personal Progress Advisor, as well as Co-Teach the Temple Prep classes in our ward for those members preparing to attend the temple for the first time. My favourite thing about living my faith is giving service. There's nothing that feels better or makes you forget your own problems than serving others. I try very hard to be welcoming, kind and giving to others. I look for opportunities to serve those who are in need.
