Hi I'm Heidi

I grew up on a fruit farm. I am studying business at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and we are very close. I have the most amazing parents. I have one sister, four brothers, two sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, 2 nieces and 2 nieces on the way. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University studying to apply to the Marriot School of Management. I want to attain a bachelor's degree in Marketing. I enjoy cooking, reading, singing, and exercising here at school when I have a free minute. I also have many cousins that attend BYU with me, so I love to spend time with them, and go cheer on the BYU Cougars at football games. During the summer I love going fishing and motorcycle riding with my brothers. I also work with my family during the summer on our family fruit farm. When it is the winter I love going snowmobiling with my family. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many great friends and family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and it gives me purpose and direction in my life. I was born to parents that are faithful LDS people, but I decided for myself that I wanted to follow this path of life. I have made my fair share of mistakes, but I know that the Lord has a plan for my life, and I am a Mormon because I know that plan includes me following the Mormon faith because it shows us the way to return to Our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in teaching and leadership positions. I have taught large groups of women over the age of 18, and I have also taught a small group of girls ranging in ages 12-17. I have served in leadership service positions where I have helped organized Sunday meetings and filled the needs of the women in my area. I live my faith through my actions, and specifically through service. As I visit with ladies from my ward I am amazed by the Christ-like love has for them, and how he increases my love for those I serve. I show that I love people and I love the Lord through the service I give to others.
