Hi I'm Colton Storrs

I was born and raised in the amazing state of Idaho. I am an athlete, a singer, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello my name is Colton. I am a son, a brother, a cousin, and an uncle. I am very active and athletic person and I enjoy doing fun things. I have played sports all my life and I hope to do so in the future as well. I was an all conference football player and a state medalist in track while in high school. I also love to sing and had the honor to be included in a regional honor choir. I continued my love for sports and music at the first college I attended, where I sang in the choir and played football. I am also a huge Football (Soccer) fan. I hope that I will be able to continue becoming better at sports and improve my musical abilities while at my new college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is church that will give me the best life. I know that the things that the church teaches are true and that it is truly God's church on the earth today. The absence of alcohol, drugs, premarital sex, and other things, has made me a much better person than had I been involved with those things. I would definitely not be the person I am today if I and not been a member of God's church. I also love how service oriented the church is. No one is paid to do anything; no one receives payments; the president of the church, our prophet, isn't walking around wearing silken clothes and wearing golden rings and necklaces. People do what they do because they want to and they want to serve the Lord; and no amount of money could change that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly reading and studying the scriptures, and by doing my best to obey all the things that the Lord has commanded. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Honduras Comayagüela Mission.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Colton Storrs
The purpose of Church welfare is to help other people when they are in need. Think of all the natural disasters that happen throughout the world and think of all the people that are left homeless; without food, clothing, water, medical supplies. The Church of Jesus Christ gives people the help that they need. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Colton Storrs
We believe that we are children of God, in every sense of the word. Children to a Father in Heaven who wants to give us all that he has. We believe that God has a body of flesh and bone, us being created in His exact image, and that he is the Great Mastermind behind all creation, that has, or will be created. Show more Show less
