Hi I'm Joe!

I am serving as a missionary in the GKLM (Great Kentucky Louisville Mission). I love sharing the Gospel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to an active LDS family, that I love so much, in a very active LDS community that I also love. I have lived most my life surrounded by people who share my beliefs, which has helped me to stick to the morals and values my church teaches. I have gained bonds with people through my church that will never be broken. I'm excited to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it will help me to get away from this environment I have had all my life and see what else there is in the world. Also, I cant wait to share the joy that it has brought me these past 19 years of my life with those in Louisville Kentucky. I know that a mission is the right thing to do and that the Lord has called me to His work, and I am excited to serve Him. Currently I am a college student at the great university of BYU, I love it here. I plan on studying Computer Science like my father and hope to be able to do great things with my life. Who knows what my future will bring, but I gain consolation from the Hymn "I Believe in Christ" in the fourth verse it reads "I believe in Christ, so come what may." I know that the Lord will be with me wherever I go as long as I obey His commandments and do what I know He wants me to. That by doing this I will be blessed not only on this Earth but, In the life to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Member of this church to two parents who both loved it and had faith in it will all their hearts. However, over my lifetime through experiences such as going to church every week and reading my scriptures and attending seminary I have come to know of the truthfulness of it. So much so, that I am willing and desirous to serve the Lord by spreading this gospel for the next two years of my life. I know that this church is true and that its the only true church that God has established here on Earth. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel 200 years ago when he decided to ask God what church to join, that through his act of faith he was able to see God the Eternal Father and His son Jesus Christ. Also, that through their instruction he restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth. I know that he was guided to an ancient record titled The Book of Mormon and translated it through the power of God. I know that the Priesthood Authority that was given to Joseph Smith has been passed in an unbroken line to Thomas S. Monson who is God's Prophet on the Earth today. He guides the church in these days and the apostles and general authorities were also called of God to organize and lead his church. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with Him in Heaven alongside our Heavenly Father and our families. If we live the commandments of God and utilize the atonement to its fullest and endure to the end, we can achieve all God wants for us. I know that these things are true without a doubt and cant wait to share them with the people of Kentucky.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. I live my faith by being an example of Jesus Christ and spending all my time doing all that I can to preach the Gospel to God's Children here in Kentucky. I hope that those I talk to can feel the Spirit working through me and recognize the power behind our message.
