Hi I'm Janet

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother..I grew up in Los Gatos , California . I've been a Mormon all of my life.

About Me

I have three wonderful children and six grandchildren. I am a multimedia artist that loves to create art that expresses my inner thoughts of gratitude. I love to sing, bake, play jokes on people, family fun days, Christmas. I love to read, talk to fiends, learn new concepts and ideas about science. I love color, doesn't matter where it is I love color! I love people and their goodness shown in ways they probably don't even know was seen.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have accumulated many opposites in life, I have the ability to choose that which brings light and truth. I have found in my experiences the way to use moral agency is through understanding the Principles that are taught in the Gospel of Jesus Christ both in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I have a testimony that the true authority to perform life saving ordinances are present in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The light I feel when I read my scriptures, a testimony of the restoration of Christ's ancient Church through Joseph Smith, my knowledge of a Plan that we call "the Plan of Salvation" and the atonement of Jesus Christ and last but not least it all just makes sense, this is why I Am A Mormon.

How I live my faith

My Faith helps me every day in my outlook on life. I have a testimony of God our Father and His son Jesus Christ as two individual and separate beings. I love sharing the Gospel with those that are looking for truth. My Father in Heaven, the atonement of Jesus Christ are my touchstones as I learn how to serve my fellow men and women. Gratitude for all things in my life, challenges that cause growth, and blessings of sacrifice bring experiences that enrich my view of life. I was an early morning Seminary teacher for twelve years and it was one of the greatest joys of my life. I been an ordinance worker in the Oakland Temple and have taught little children up to adults the Gospel starting when I was 16 and I have worked in many positions in the Relief Society, which is one of the largest woman's organization in the world.
