Hi I'm Nate Hafen

I grew up in Nevada. I love sports and the gospel! I'm a Mormon and proud of it.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Mexico! I attended one year of college before going on my mission. I am going to major in political science and go to law school after I finish that degree. I love my family and friends. I can almost always be found spending time with those people I care about. I love dogs they bring me so much joy! It was definitely hard to leave my families' Shiba Inu when I left for my mission. When I get home I can't wait to get a dog of my own, probably a German Shepard.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love it! A friend asked me shortly before I left for my mission, "What's different about you? You seem to be so happy and already know what you want with your life." I told him that just like him I don't know for sure what I want to do for a career, where I want to live, or how many kids I'll have, but that because of my religion and beliefs I have an eternal perspective on what I want in the long-run of my life. I know that I do want a family that I'll be able to live with forever, even after death, thanks to the gospel. I know I want to be the best person possible each day because I have a knowledge of Christ and our Heavenly Father, their love for us, and their desire for us to be better people and live the commandments better each day!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving in my church callings faithfully. Right now I'm working as hard as I can everyday on my mission to introduce people to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the happiness that I've experienced as a member. Before I left on my mission I tried to teach by example! I would try to be friendly, happy, and helpful to those around me and try to do those things that Christ would have done in his time on Earth.
