Hi I'm Quinten

Food is good. The Book of Mormon is good. God is good. I'm a Mormon, that's pretty good too

About Me

I love to swim and have for as long as I can remember. I love to eat and have since I was a tiny baby. I love being a Mormon and that won't ever change. I chose to serve a mission when I was 18 and was called to serve in the Harare Zimbabwe mission. And someday I hope to grow the worlds best beard.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. At first I chose to be a Mormon because that's what I was taught. I kind of just followed whatever my parents did. As I went to church every Sunday and learned more about the Book of Mormon, I was able to pray and find out for myself if the Church was true and if this is where I really wanted to be. I am happy to know now that the Book of Mormon is true, and to be able to see how it blesses my life and the life of those around me.

How I live my faith

I went to church every Sunday and participated in all of my church activities. I visited those who weren't able to make it to church and gave them an opportunity to feel the spirit and to learn of the gospel. By doing this it allowed me to serve those who needed help and comfort. I enjoy helping and serving others because I feel like it brings me closer to my Heavenly Father. I try my best to live the commandments. I keep the word of wisdom by not drinking coffee or alcohol, or doing any kind of drugs. I do not see these commandments as a restriction, I think of them as a way to keep me free of addiction. Free to live my life to its fullest potential. Because I stayed worthy I put myself in a position to be able to serve a mission. To put everything on hold for two years, so I can go out and share this wonderful gospel with those who didn't have the same opportunities as me.
