Hi I'm Bobby

I am from California, I study Pre Med at BYU Hawaii currently, I play golf, i am a recovering addict and i am a Mormon

About Me

I have been a member of this church my entire life and nothing has been better for me or as fulfilling as my time spent in it. I have a wonderful Mother and Father and one sister. I love my family through thick and thin especially because i know they are always willing to help me. Same with my friends that i have, they love me and uplift me in my darkest hours. I have had a rough time in the past, I am not proud of what i have done and i know that i am far from perfect. My life has taken turns for the worst and i didnt know where else i could go for help, except my family. I am so proud to say now though that through the help of the church and my family and friends i am on a better road that can lead to a better place. And i know now that any place is better than where i was and where most of the world stands today. In times like these, where not much is known about what is to come, i am happy that i can be a part of this great cause that accepts all. Even the worst of the worst which is what i felt like for a long time. Believe me, if you fell low or down in the dumps or like you have done too much wrong, you could not be further from the truth, there is so much more for us and i am a personal witness to this truth. I know that if you are reading this, you have had strong struggles of which you think there is no return, i promise you, there is. I love you whoever you are and i hope you will proceed ti find out more about us. Bobby

Why I am a Mormon

I didnt want to be a member of this church until i was about 17 or 18. I did grow up in the church because my parents took me to the building and we had our meetings and such but it never interested me until i had an experience with my now best friend David. Long story short he changed my life and i changed his and because of it, we are happy people. I can tell you more about it in detail if you want to message me, because it is quite the heart warmer. Anyway, now i am absolutely in love with what i believe because i makes sense that we have a prophet on this earth that has the power to speak to God and he can then relay the message. I like that alot, and i know he is a Prophet with all of my heart because i just feel loved when i listen to him.

How I live my faith

I have served as a missionary in Cusco, Peru. Giving two years of my life for this cause and i have been able to see the change in people that this gospel has on them. Knowing something and seeing something are not the same, this is something important i have learned while i was gone all that time, with no contact with my family or home at all. You may have been able to know something because you have seen it, but it is completely different to see something because you know it. I have witnessed miracles, not because i am perfect because i am anything but, but i can tell you this church gives everyone the chance to see something extraordinary. If you dont know what i mean, then give our message a chance, and see what it can do for you.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Bobby
We be the best we can be and we do all that we can do, and only after that are we saved by the grace with Jesus Christ has bestowed upon us. For some it is required alot and for others not as much, it is all circumstantial. For some, not smoking a cigarette for a day is the best he or she can do, for others its for a year. It all depends on if we are doing it to the best of our abilities. Show more Show less
