Hi I'm Cheltzey

I'm a small-town girl from a family with a cowboy heritage, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love AGRICULTURE! I grew up on a small beef-ranch in a little valley in Idaho spotted with family farms. I now work in a daycare in Montana. I love being outdoors, and enjoying the beauty of this earth that we live in! I also love reading and writing. We live in a very wet area and I love cuddling up with a good book in front of the fire on a rainy day!

Why I am a Mormon

In high school, I suffered with depression and a bad self image. It is through Jesus Christ that I have found that I am loved and important! I have had the opportunity to be sealed for time, and all eternity to the love of my life in the literal House of the Lord. I love reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and how happy I am when I am learning about Christ's ministry here on earth. Living through His Gospel has taught me that life is meant to be enjoyed and that He rejoices when we are making the decisions that lead to our Eternal Happiness! I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loves me, and it is because of this knowledge that I LOVE His Church, and I LOVE my life!

How I live my faith

I currently work with the young women in our community. I also teach one Sunday each month to the ladies in our ward that are 18+ in age! I love attending my weekly meetings and learning of Christ through the great people I get to associate with!

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Cheltzey
Well, you might be surprised to find that we live just like YOU! With, perhaps, only a few differences! For example, most Mormons go to church for three hours every Sunday, along with maybe a few more meetings during the weekday. We are taught to keep our bodies free from addictive substances, so if you visit a Mormon home, you will probably not find alcohol, cigarettes, or other addictive items. You might notice pictures of family, both nuclear and ancestral, as we believe that Family plays a key role in Heavenly Father's plan for us here, on Earth! You may also see pictures of Christ, and beautiful buildings called Temples, which we believe to be the literal 'House of the Lord'. We do recreational activities, and eat good food with friends and family, and try to focus on living happy, fulfilling lives! Show more Show less
