Hi I'm Todd Norman

I'm a university student, studying mechanical engineering. I speak Lithuanian, like longboarding, love VW Bugs, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a VW nut. I love old air-cooled Volkswagens, I have owned a 1974 standard Beetle, I currently own a 1975 Super Beetle, but my dream is to own a 1967 Beetle. I love taking my bug to car shows, buying it new parts, and tinkering on it. I know more about old Beetles that pretty much anything else. I do all the work on my car myself and with my dad, its a great learning experience. I also love science and engineering. I was able to graduate from a Science Academy with an Associates degree and will be attending the BYU school of Engineering when I return from serving a mission. I would love to start my own business with my brother some day. I am fascinated with technology and robotics. Some of my other hobbies include reading, hanging out with my brothers, long-boarding, and building/ making movies with Legos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon household from the time I was born, but that isn't the reason I'm a Mormon. That's how I was introduced to the Mormon Church. I am a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon, and prayed to know if it was true. The spirit of the Lord testified to me that the Book of Mormon is true and the Church is true. I am grateful for the church and the blessing of the church. I love serving in the church, and the friendships found in congregations, and the way the church brings families closer together.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite things to do is visit the temple. I've been blessed to live close to a temple of the Lord. I have a group of friends that I attended the temple with. We would all get up at 4 in the morning before school to attend the temple and feel the spirit. And the kids in the group that are old enough served missions, including me. I served in the Baltic Mission, Lithuanian Region. I have always enjoyed Home Teaching with my Dad. We go out and visit with some of our neighbors and ward members and serve them in any way we can. My family has always been a good example to me. We have had family night most Mondays. And we do family scripture study every morning.
