Hi I'm Lance

I love sports. I love life. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to great parents, I'm the middle child of five kids. We are a very close-knit family even though my parents are divorced. There have been challenges with that but I think it brought me closer to my siblings and made me love them even more. I love sports, I've played and watched them for as long as I can remember. My personal favorite sport is football, although I have been know to play a little basketball here and there despite the fact that I'm terrible at it. My personal opinion is it doesn't matter if you're good at something, just always try your best and have fun. Just some random things about me, I'm a professional dashboard drummer, I enjoy being outdoors,

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my I love my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and my family. I know that Jesus Christ lives and he redeemed me from sin so that one day I can live with Him and my Heavenly Father again. I know that Christ broke the bonds of death making it possible for families to be together forever. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. The principles and doctrine that it teaches have brought me so much happiness. I know that I can speak to God through prayer and that He hears me as an individual, He knows my name. I know that God still speaks to his children; he does this in many ways including modern day prophets, such as His current prophet on the earth, Thomas S. Monson, who leads and guides His church. I know all of this because I have prayed to know if it is true and I received an answer that I can not explain, but I know that it is and I can not deny it. This is just a small sliver of why I choose to be a Mormon and why I believe the way I believe the way I do.

How I live my faith

The most recent example of how I live my faith is choosing to serve a full-time two year mission to share the things that I know are true. I'm doing this because of the joy that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me and I want others to have the same opportunity learn of it as I have. I also seek out every opportunity that I can right now, before I go, to share the Gospel with those that I interact with.
