Hi I'm Todd Larsen

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I hope many will enjoy learning more about the Church.

About Me

I have been a Mormon my entire life, but I have not always followed its teaching and done what I now know to be true. I am not a perfect person and I don't profess to be. I'm trying to make it through life and find happiness. I'm a husband, father, and son. In the gospel of Jesus Christ and in my family is where I have found happiness. I work as a professional in the commercial real estate industry. I have been working in this profession since I graduated from college 15 years ago. It has been a very rewarding career, but I often wish for more time with family. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me put life into prospective, even though I often still struggle with balancing my time between work, family, and religion. I'm just a normal, at least I consider myself normal, everyday American.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life, but I have not always known it to be true. I know that may sound strange, but I previously trusted others. Others I trusted said they believed, so I believed. We call it, living on borrowed light. I'm a Mormon today, because I have learned for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mormon is a nickname, is a truly a correct religion. It is Jesus Christ's Church on the earth today. It has the authority to act in God's name through the priesthood. There is a prophet on the earth today that receives direction and inspiration from God, just like during the times of the Bible. I have learned this through study and prayer. I know this to be true! Please give this religion some thought and prayer and I know you also will be inspired to join yourself with us as we try to help each other be happier and come to the knowledge of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I'm proud to call myself a Mormon! I love God and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I work with future missionaries that will be dedicating two years of their lives to teaching and spreading the word of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also served a mission when I was younger just like the missionaries you may see around wearing a white shirt and tie. I served in Germany amongst the wonderful people in Berlin. It was two of the best two years of my life, serving, teaching, and loving the people. I would do it again in a second because I what I learned about the gospel of Jesus Christ and about myself.
