Hi I'm Tyk D. Goodey

I grew up in Clarkston, Utah, but I am currently serving as a missionary in the England Manchester Mission!

About Me

I live at home with my family. I have two brothers. I currently have my mission call to serve in the England Manchester Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There was a time when I had to find out for myself if what I was practising was true or not. I attended a camp with some of the youth from my congregation, and it was there that after I had put in the effort to read the Book of Mormon, that the setting was right for the Holy Spirit to testify to me that it was, in fact true. There have been numerous times when I have felt the presence of the Holy Ghost in my life, and I absolutely love the fact that I know that I have the opportunity to live with Jesus Christ, my family, and our Heavenly Father again after this life!!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England Manchester Mission, which covers the northwest of England, the north of Wales, and the Isle of Man. I love to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people hear and to see the change in them when they receive their own witness from the Holy Ghost that Jesus Christ is their person saviour. In the past, I have done research for my ancestors online and have been doing temple work for them.

How does the Church finance its operations?

People in the church are asked to pay one tenth of their income to the to the church. Other offerings are accepted, such as a Fast Offerings. Fast Offerings are when you fast (not eating or drinking for a set amount of time for a certain purpose) and you give the money you would have spent on your meal to the church. Show more Show less
