Hi I'm Tyson Bradley

I enjoy making people laugh and I want to lead people to live happier and more productive lives. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I read once that right-handed people are more left-brained and left-handed people are more right-brained. Well...I'm a happy mix of both! I use my left hand to eat, brush my teeth, and write, but I use my right hand to play sports (throw, shoot, swing, kick). This describes me well because I think about things logically, but I have a creative side that comes out in the hobbies that I have. Some of my hobbies include playing the Ukulele, Yodeling (you heard right!), and Designing logos. I enjoy singing and doing the "robot" dance. Growing up I did everything from making Clay-mations, yo-yo-ing, and balloon tying, to movie making and now...photography. Although the hobbies are fun, I get the most satisfaction out of my life by helping others succeed. I enjoy teaching and learning about leadership and development. I read books on the stuff! This is partly why I am pursuing a career in Human Resources, I want every day to be a day where I seek to build others up. I also like innovative thinking and might own a business someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to be a member of this church after a series of spiritual experiences that have occurred throughout my life. The first experience came from the Book of Mormon. I read it, prayed about it, and felt warmth in my heart and clarity in my mind. This happened when I was 17, but I continue today to read it and love the direction that it provides to my life. I have also had experiences when listening to the prophet, Thomas S. Monson, speak to the world. At certain times I have felt that messages from the prophet and apostles were directed towards me and my problems. Through their words and the words of the scriptures I have received promptings to change the way I live. As I have prayed I have felt guidance and comfort from a loving Father in Heaven who knows my needs. This church has forever effected the way I approach trials in my life and helps me in any and every time of hardship. Overall...this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the First Counselor in the Elders Quorum. This just means that I help the men (age 20-50) in the ward to become better husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons. I spend a few hours each week visiting the homes of the members of the ward, helping them to live a life of happiness (which is brought about by living what the church teaches). I also pray for certain individuals that have landed on hard times. I live my faith by getting to know others around me. I enjoy creating new friendships and I want to be the kind of friend that will "be there" when needed.
