Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in Utah. I am married to my best friend. I love sports, I work in public education, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church and have always had a testimony. My testimony has grown during each stage of my life. I grew up with two brothers and one sister. Although we have all moved on to raising our own families, we still get together often. I am a husband to an unbelievable wife. Our marriage is my most prized possession. I love spending time with her, especially going to the temple. She makes me a better person and I appreciate her tender mercies. I am a father of five beautiful children who give me a little glimpse of heavenly fathers happiness and glory. Watching my children grow and make decisions everyday teaches me that we can do hard things and stand up for what is right. My experiences in the gospel have helped me to learn more about myself and about my purpose. I am a high school teacher. I love the opportunity to continue learning in my profession. I am so thankful for all of the many blessings in my life. I am a mormon and I love the moments that strengthen my testimony.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because It teaches me about the personal plan of salvation that my Father in Heavan has for me. As I learn more about Him, the more confidence it gives me in following his teachings. I can feel of his love for me and I appreciate the opportunities he gives me to grow. Through my successes and trials I have learned that partaking of the atonement is when I grow the most. With the understanding of who I am, why I am here, and where I am going, it helps me to embrace and appreciate all that my Hevenly Father blesses me with.

How I live my faith

As you can tell our family is our focus. Through the church of Jesus Christ our families can be together forever. We make an effort everyday to create moments in our family to strengthen our testimonies by reading scriptures, saying our prayers together, going boating, family vacations to Lake Powell and California, eating dinner together, making a phone call, sending a text, and looking for moments to serve one another. We have experiences together that help us remember our heavenly fathers plan for families. I have learned that the more I share my thoughts and testimony in church meetings, during family home evenings, and during home teaching visits the more my testimony grows. I appreciate the testimonies of others and look forward to the spirit that touches my heart when I know what they are saying is true.
