Hi I'm Andre

I am a husband, father, businessman and I am a mormon.

About Me

I love roller-coasters, sunsets, good movies with happy endings, traveling to see the amazing wonders of this world and spending time with my family. I am a certified public accountant (CPA) and the chief financial officer of a private company. I enjoy finding ways to help other people. I volunteer at my alma mater and try to help new students afford/obtain a good college education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the knowledge, understanding, peace and joy it provides to me. I can not imagine having my family relationships end with death. Knowing that my family can be together forever, brings great comfort especially during difficult times. I know we have modern day prophets and apostles to help us make good choices in how we live our lives. I know we have the priesthood of God (authority to act in God's name) on the earth again. Understanding God's plan for us makes this life much more wonderful.

How I live my faith

Since we are all children of the same Heavenly Father, we have a responsibility to help each other. Our family tries to identify people who may be struggling for one reason or another. We think of ways we can be a strength and support to them. We do this because we love God and all of his children. They are our brothers and sisters. This may include inviting them over for a game or movie night to just have fun and enjoy each others company. It may be helping them with house or yard work (shoveling their driveway in winter for example). It may be as simple as bringing them a treat and telling them we were thinking about them. Jesus Christ taught that we should love God with all our heart and our neighbor as our selves. Think of how wonderful this world would be if everyone looked out for each other. We just try to do our part to accomplish that vision.
