Hi I'm Meghan

I'm studying to become a second grade teacher. I love singing and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to school at BYU to become an elementary school teacher. It has been my dream for a while now to become a teacher. I want to teach second grade but I would be okay with any grades if I had to. I love to teach and help kids. l love to run and hope to someday run a half marathon. I also played tennis in high school. Music means everything to me. I absolutely love to sing but I also play the piano, I have been playing for about thirteen years. I hope to use music by creating a music workshop someday to help kids gain more confidence in themselves and realize how special and important they each are.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that this is the only true church on this earth. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to return and live with Him again. I know that he created the Plan of Salvation to help me return to Him again through my Savior, Jesus Christ. Christ sacrificed himself for my sins and died for me so that I can return to my Heavenly Father. I know that Christ knows me personally and understands everything that I have been through and how I feel about them. He loves me and I am so grateful for everything He has done for me. I strive to do my best and live righteously because I want to live with my Heavenly Father again. If I follow the commandments, love my fellowmen, and live in a righteous manner, I know that I am on the right path to returning to and live with Him again. I also know that through the Plan of Salvation, by getting sealed in the temple, I can be with my family forever. I love this gospel more than everything and living the way that Christ would live has made me so happy even in hard times.

How I live my faith

I have previously served in my ward as a visiting teacher supervisor where I made sure that the women in the ward are being visited and taken care of. As a youth I had callings where I made sure that all the girls in my group felt loved and had a friend. I helped plan activities for our group as well that everyone could enjoy. I participate in my ward by being an active participant in each meeting and making sure that everyone feels included and loved.
