Hi I'm Paul Tonga

I grew up in California and loved every second of it. Family is way important to me and so is the gospel. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up with a lot of family and love spending time with them, even when they annoy me. I love sports and music. My favorite thing to eat is peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches or oreos with a super cold glass of milk. I like a cold pillow and a warm blanket. I like to beat my pops in basketball, listen to music really loud, and hang out with my friends. I like socks, shoes and hats...underground music, and freeze tag. I am currently serving a full-time mission Spanish speaking in a place that I would have never imagined even had Hispanics, Charlotte, North Carolina. The best thing about the mission, is learning. I never would've imagined that I would be called Spanish speaking, especially because I was horrible in Spanish in High School, but I thank the Lord daily for this opportunity. Service is great, but ever better is being able to do it as a full-time representative of our Savior Jesus Christ. His life wasn't easy, so there is no way that we can ever expect thigns to come easy for us. I love the gospel and how living it doesn't mean we won't have trials; just that we will understand where we can go to find support during.

Why I am a Mormon

The biggest reason that I am a Mormon, is because of the fact that families can be together forever. I love my family and can't imagine my life without them. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has helped me to not only increase my faith in Jesus Christ, but solidify it. I have seen how the gospel has changed my life. Through trials, I have received support and guidance that helps me feel the love of God. Understanding simple principles like Faith, Repentance, Baptism, The Holy Ghost and Enduring to The End and how they are interconnected pushes me to always do my best and be better. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, that is exactly the focus. Daily being better, and I really like that. It helps me to see how huch I've grown and how much I can continue to grow.

How I live my faith

Now, I serve a voluntary 2 year mission and I love it. We are able to help people from all over, come closer to the Savior Jesus Chrsit. It helps me because i can share how these things have helped me and then see how it blesses others lives. It is such a huge blessing in my life.
