Hi I'm Michael

I've lived in Utah all of my life. I play Lacrosse. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I'd always been a huge fan of sports, especially Football. Whenever I'd play a sport, it was as though i'd lost all care about the world and was just focused on that moment in time and playing to the best of my ability. Although I quit Football in the 9th grade, I still continued to watch it a lot on the television and would even play Video Games like "Madden" and "NCAA Football". In the 7th Grade, I found the sport Lacrosse, and it was very new to my town, and I became hooked! I continued to play throughout High School and hope to play when I return from my mission. In the 11th grade I discovered Wrestling, a sport that truly takes all of your effort and talent to win. Although I was only able to wrestle for my 11th and 12th grade years, I wished that I had started when I was much younger. I always love spending time with others, especially friends and mostly family. My family is one of the most important things in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because i've seen how when we live by the principles we've been taught in church and in the scriptures, it makes life so much more meaningful. Life is hard, and I know that i've only begun in this journey called Life. When I live these principles, I truly feel happy, at peace, comforted, and loved by my Heavenly Father. I've seen in my life and in others, how the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ adds to our lives and brings us closer to God and his Son, Jesus Christ. I'm PROUD to be a Mormon. I know this church to be true. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I know that Christ lives, that He loves us, that He atoned for our sins, and that He is our advocate with our Heavenly Father. He is the light of the world. The Holy Ghost has confirmed these things to me through humble prayer, earnestly asking to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I serve my neighbors by helping out some of the local 16-18 year old young men, such as helping them learn principles that will benefit them throughout their lives. I also have the privilege of visiting my neighbors with my father once a month and teaching them about a certain religious principles that will benefit us in this life, and even leave them with a thought that may help them at that current time. If there's one thing i've discovered that truly makes me happy, it's serving others.
