Hi I'm Sam

I'm a student, home teacher, future missionary, and I'm Mormon

About Me

I love personal development in all areas. I work hard to master my emotions and thoughts and love doing so. I also really like poetry, I feel like it's the best way to convey emotions. I love working out and playing basketball. But my FAVORITE thing is progressing spiritually and doing what I'm feeling inclined to do. That's pretty much where I'm at right now. I used to do parkour and dirt bike but not so much anymore. I worked with autistic kids for a couple years then painted which was my last job. I'm just waiting to go on a mission and will be leaving soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because It's the original church of Jesus Christ and has been restored in these days; how do I know that? By living it. I know what it's like to live "normally", just going through the motions and basically doing what others do. I wasn't miserable, I just thought that that was it; that was life. I didn't know there was anything better. There is something better, a lot better. As I started trying to live the church's Gospel I found a deep change in my heart. It's not easy, it takes time and patience, but it is tremendously worth it. As I keep progressing and get better and better I can feel God's love for me; and that's a great thing. No matter where you are in life or how far down you think you might be, you can always change, (I'm a very strong believer in change) and as you do so you can feel God's love for you and have the assurance that what you're doing is right. I know this Gospel is true, and that it is truly lead by Christ. I can feel it every time I participate in any church activity, every time I read the Book of Mormon, and anytime I think about it. The blessings and joy I've gotten from living and being apart of this church have been.. well it is impossible to use words, but I can truly feel it.

How I live my faith

I'm a home teacher, and I absolutely love it. I know it's very important to God and I try and take it very seriously. Other than that I just try and do my part, do everything God has asked, love and serve others, and just try and do whatever I feel that God is telling me to do.
