Hi I'm Zach Broyles

I was born in Nebraska. I was raised in Arizona. I love the dry heat! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in southern Arizona I learned to live in the heat. When I first experienced what a humid day felt like I knew I liked the dry desert weather better. My father is a optical and mechanical engineer (or Opto-mech for short). I hope to follow in his footsteps one day and become an engineer. I have a loving mother who was always there to encourage me. I am the oldest child of four. I'm an example for my younger siblings. I enjoy playing volleyball, banging on drums, and building robots. For work I paint houses, church buildings, and schools.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in an LDS home I was always encouraged to live like Christ. However I was never forced to believe in Christ or go to church or anything like that. It was my choice. For a time I didn't want to live as my parents did. Eventually I realized that I was unhappy with the decisions I was making. I felt as if my life was void of anything worthwhile. I made a commitment to myself that I would change. I'm not perfect, by far, but now I know that my savior and redeemer, Jesus Christ, lives. That he loves me and knows me personally. And that he paved the way for me to follow in his footsteps.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acting on the convictions I have in Jesus Christ and his Gospel. I am currently serving a mission in Virginia, and am loving every minute of it! Before my mission I taught a class about the basic principles of the gospel of Christ every Sunday.
