Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Arizona. At the age of 18 I became a member of this church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college and playing college baseball as well. When I was 18 one of my best friends got baptized and he was loving enough towards me to invite me to go to church with him. I started taking the missionary discussions and reading the Book of Mormon and a month or so later I committed to being baptized. This was by far the greatest decision of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow His gospel because I know that as I do so He will pour out blessings for me and my family. I strive to be the best example I can be, especially to my family in hopes that one day they will have the desire to become members of the everlasting and true church. Following His gospel is the only way we can return to live with our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. Following His gospel also brings much happiness, so much that I can't put it into words. It lets me know that no matter what struggles I may be going through, no matter how alone I feel, I am never alone. Heavenly Father cares about each one of His children, whether we deserve his love or not. It is unconditional, and I testify that it is true.

How I live my faith

It is important to do as many activities with your ward family. As you do this, the relationships inside your ward with grow and it will make church meetings/events much more powerful and spiritual. I currently help the missionaries because my calling is a ward missionary. I know that this is a great calling for me because I get to teach Sunday School, as well as teach with the missionaries. Hometeaching is a great way to build relationships inside your ward as well. You can build many life long friendships through diligent hometeaching. Both being a ward missionary and a hometeacher are great ways for the youth to prepare for missions, it has helped me a lot.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Justin
Joseph Smith was chosen by our Heavenly Father to restore the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He saw God the Father, and Jesus Christ when he prayed to know which church he needed to join. He was a prophet and translated the Book of Mormon. He was commanded to do all these things, and more, by our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
