Hi I'm Myco

I make videos and shoot photos. I love ketchup. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the eldest of 5 children to amazing parents who has brought me up quite well. I belong to a family who loves to take trips, eat out and have fun with the company of each other. As a web developer, seeing things in an organized and logical manner is something I quite treasure. Taking photos and making videos are one of the things that I love to do. And.. like everybody else, I love to accompany my food with my favorite condiment - ketchup.

Why I am a Mormon

As a kid, I grew up asking A LOT of questions. I've always had a fascination of how things work and how it all came to be. I am blessed to have great parents who were never tired of answering every bit of question I had in mind. Now that I am an adult, the time came when my questions were more profound and that I had to really know for myself. I had to know why I am here. I had to know for myself what is my purpose and why we all have hardships and challenges in life. I got bits and pieces of information or answers to my questions through people and the books I've read. But it wasn't until I talked to my Heavenly Father that I got the answer. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know that it is same church Jesus Christ has built when He first came to earth. I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and His teachings. I believe in His plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I teach children ages 8 to 11 years old in a class called "Primary". Here, we learn about Jesus Christ. In our class, we learn that each and every one of us is a child of God and that He loves us very much and is mindful of our needs. Because of this love that I have felt from my Heavenly Father, I have grown the desire to serve Him. I am called to be a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be serving for 18 months - away from my family and all the comforts in life that I have gotten used to. I have felt the need for me to share to other people the joys and blessings I have experienced in my life.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Speaking from a photographer's viewpoint, no lens or camera can ever come close to the complex and amazing functions of a human eye. That is just one aspect of why I believe that there is a God. Everywhere you look, everything you see, hear, and feel - everything is evidence that there is a God. Even the faculties that we are given to sense all of this - it is his creation.
