Hi I'm Andrew

I am a Missionary currently serving in the Indonesia Jakarta Mission. I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Right now, I am serving a Mission in Indonesia. It has been such a great experience, and I learn so much every day. I have really loved the people here, and I look forward to serve them until I return home. Before going on my Mission, I did one year of College at SUU in Cedar City, UT. It was a lot of fun. I am looking at going into law, but I am also interested in Philosophy and History. I am a patriot, and am so grateful to be living in the United States. My hobbies include Snowboarding, camping, shooting, all kinds of sports, watching movies, cars, and many more things. I really love spending time with my family, and I will be excited to do that when I return home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this church, but there was still a time where I had to really make the decision for myself if it is true or not. I gained my testimony through the Book of Mormon, and other sources of truth. All things denote that there is a God, and I know that Jesus Christ is his son. I feel his love, and as I learn of him, I know that it is only through him that we can be saved. This church has blessed me and my family so much, and since I know that all good things are from God, I know this is his true church.

How I live my faith

Before arriving in the Mission field, I was active in the church, but not as much as I should have been. But now, I am 100% dedicated to the Lord and his work 24/7. That may seem like a burden, but it has really been a blessing. I have seen that as I forget about myself and my own problems, and focus on others and their needs, I am greatly blessed. I feel so happy to serve others, and in my mind, that is the best way to bring happiness. This is not a spectator religion, everyone must be fully involved. That is why it is so well organized and complete.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Andrew
Ever since I was little, I have learned and studied the principles in this Church. Everything that we do testifies of Christ and his divine role in our salvation. We believe that it is only through him that we can return to our Heavenly Father. We are encouraged in this Church to follow Christ and become like him. I know he is my Savior, and I know that he loves me more than I can comprehend. This Church is guided by him. Show more Show less
