Hi I'm Leki

I am born of goodly parents. I am a fighter. I am a lover. I am a Tongan from Utah. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five. I play multiple sports such as; Football, Rugby, wrestling, boxing, basketball, soccer, baseball, racquetball, volleyball, and I also participate in Track and field. I love to spend time with family members and friends. Sleeping and eating are some of my favorite "hobbies". I love to sing and dance. I love my family very much and couldn't imagine living without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but that did not stop me from finding out for myself whether or not this gospel was true and to build a testimony for myself. It wasn't until I was 16, life at the time was very hard, but that was when I had a true conversion. There seemed to be no way out of this darkness that I had slipped into. Until one day I knelt down and prayed to our Heavenly Father. At that moment, I received comfort and peace. I knew then, that the spirit had manifested to me that He was there. When no one else was, He was. And He will always be. He showed me that path that I should follow. That path consisted of going to church, reading The Book of Mormon, and consistently praying and living up to church standards. It was a path that led out of the darkness that I was metaphorically trapped in. I'm not saying that this gospel will guarantee an easier life. Because life will ALWAYS have its challenges and obstacles that we must overcome. But because of this gospel, I know that there is a second chance. I know that there is a way to return to our Heavenly if we endure to the very end. I bear you my my testimony that this IS the ONLY true church upon the face of the earth. I know that Joseph Smith DID restore the gospel upon this earth. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return to him again. So he gave his only begotten son. That he may come here on this earth and atone for our sins. I love this gospel and I am happy to know that I can be with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ one day.

How I live my faith

I have decided to make the decision to serve my Heavenly Father and his children by going on a mission. I have been called to the Nuku'alofa Tonga Mission. I only see fit that I do so. I try and live to the best of my abilities and make choices that would benefit my life and correlate with the teachings of this gospel. I am not perfect but I am trying. Charity is a fundamental principle that is constantly taught in this gospel that I try and live. It is the pure love of Christ. I try to help out others as much as I can. I think that is why deciding to serve a mission was so easy.
