Hi I'm Dylan

I was raised in Washington State, I've worked on farms and ranches, I play the piano, and I hunt animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I'm nothing too special, I was born into a good family, that have raised me well. My dad grew up on a cattle ranch and has taught me the importance of work, and how to have fun while doing it. I took that knowledge of work into school and my job on a vineyard for the four years I have worked there. My dad has also taught me to love the outdoors, in particular hunting, I love being in the mountains trying to outsmart an animal! especially when I have a bow in my hands! I love my family and my church, and will serve both forever!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God is real. I have felt Him in my heart over and over again. I have experienced miracles in my life, most of them deriving from hunting stories and working on the ranch haha. Examples in my life have pushed me in the right direction, Uncles, Grandpas, and my Dad are all strong examples of worthy Men in my life that I have always wanted to be like. When I first dove into a copy of The Book of Mormon I was 16 years old, The amazing stories of miracles, bowhunting and war all kept my attention while soaking in the good word. But the greatest gift that I have received from the book of Mormon is my understanding and personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. By reading ancient prophets words in the scriptures preaching of Christ I can feel the importance and longing to follow those words. I can testify that true happiness and Joy comes from following the perfect gospel of Jesus Christ. I cannot deny the peace the Book of Mormon brings to my soul as I read, I cannot deny the miracles I have witnessed in my life, and I cannot deny that by allowing Jesus Christ and using His atonement has made me feel the best happiness that I have ever felt.

How I live my faith

I am actually about ready to embark on my two-year mission that 18 or older boys get to experience in our church. I am really excited to forget myself and of worldly goals I have and focus on helping others become happier and closer to Christ. Some might think giving up two years of your life is a waste of time, but I know they will help me to become the Man I want to be in the future.
