Hi I'm Ricardo Rubio

I grew up in Honduras, I speak Spanish and I am excited for my mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Honduras and moved to the United States when I was twelve years old. I did not know much about the church until the missionaries came and knocked on my door. I was baptized when I was about twelve or thirteen and I did not decide to go on a mission until I was seventeen. I will report to the MTC on December 18th of this year.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was baptized into the church and was a member for a few years, I was not very interested in the church until I prayed about it and started to attend early morning seminary before school which was basically just scripture study. I felt like I was at home and it felt right to me. So I decided to go on a mission and commit fully to the gospel. I hope one day to get married in the temple and have a eternal family and go back to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church as much as I can and being an example in my family. I am the only active member in my family. I also try my best to do what I am asked and do what my calling asks of me. I am the Sunday school secretary or as I like to call myself, the bell master. I ring the bell to let everyone know when they need to proceed to the next class.
